ALL flights to and from Exeter Airport have been cancelled as severe snow and wind forced the hub to shut down.

Officials announced this morning that the airport would be closed all day today because of the weather and for the safety of passengers.

Many flights expected to land at Exeter have been diverted to another airport and passengers due to fly from Exeter today should contact their airliner.
