A HOUSE fire in Totnes described as ‘well developed’ was successfully brought under control by fire crews.
Just after 7pm on Monday, July 1, the town’s firefighters were called to reports of a house fire in area.

Soon to be joined by firefighters from Buckfastleigh Fire Station, the coalition crew set about tackling the ‘well developed fire’.
Using a firefighting jet, two hose reel jets and six breathing apparatus, the team stopped the fire, which had began in the lounge and had began to compromise the structure of the roof, from spreading to the rest of the property.
