A NEWTON Abbot man has been fined £100 for breaching a Domestic Violence Protection Order.

Christopher Locke, aged 41, of Whitelake Place, West Golds Way, admitted breaching the order made by Exeter Magistrates by making direct contact with a woman between April 6 to 8.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court fined him £100 and ordered him to be detained in the courthouse on the day as the court ruled: ‘Detention deemed served by reason of time already spent in custody.’
