A FAMILY friendly barn dance returns to a Teignbridge village next month.

The event is in aid of Hennock Community Primary School.

Organised by the school’s Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA), the barn dance returns on Saturday, October 5.

Beechleigh Farm will welcome guests from 6pm.

Renowned ceilidh band, Spinach For Norman, are gearing up to delight the crowd of both young and old with lively traditional songs.

Fundraising community events such as this will help upgrade the school’s playground.

There will be a bar to quench dancers' thirst, a barbecue serving locally sourced meats and a raffle, with prizes from local businesses.
