PROM dresses and smart suits were out in force as Teignmouth Community School students celebrated their end of school exams.
The Year 11 pupils and their teachers enjoyed a beautiful night at Torquay’s Imperial Hotel last Friday, overlooking the sea on a sunny evening.
Laura Milsom, head of their year, said: ‘The event was a fantastic success with 140 students and staff attending and a great end to the school year for Year 11s who’d been working so hard throughout the exam period.
‘Shaldon band The Shrine played and there was food, fun and lots of dancing throughout the evening.’
Lee Morgan and Anna Bacon were crowned prom king and queen for the night.
Ms Milsom added: ‘All the students looked amazing and a great amount of effort had been put into dressing up and arrival vehicles.
‘Pick of the night was Will Vooght who drove himself to prom in a very shiny John Deere Tractor!’
