AN EXETER man has been fined and ordered to pay compensation to a man he beat up at Newton Abbot railway station.
Alfie Drew, 28, of Jordan Drive, also known as Alfie Tossell, had denied the assault on Kaiden Edwards on November 12 last year.
But magistrates found him guilty of assault by beating in a case brought by British Transport Police.
Drew was ordered to pay his victim £50 compensation and fined £180.
He was further ordered to pay prosecution costs of £100 to be added to other outstanding fines.
