A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with injuring three people in a stabbing incident in Teignmouth.
Kai Webb, of Teignmouth, is accused of two counts of assault, two counts of causing grievious bodily harm with intent and one charge of possession of a knife.
He entered a not guilty plea to all five charges when he appeared before magistrates in Plymouth.
The bench remanded him in custody until June 22 when he will appear at Exeter Crown Court.
The charges related to an alleged incident in Teignmouth in which two girls, aged 17 and 19, were injured.
Webb was further charged with stealing alcohol and food from Morrisons supermarket in Teignmouth on May 8.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to serve 14 days in a young offenders’ institution and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and £50 compensation.
