A CHARITY helping those with motor neurone disease were the grateful recipients of a cheque for £1,000.

Newton Abbot Christmas Show Society presented the cheque to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The funds were raised by two auctions held at the 2024 Newton Abbot Christmas Show at Higher Humber Farm, Bishopsteignton by kind permission of Geoff & Joe Lang.

Rendells Auctioneers auctioned many lots to suit all bidders: from half a lamb to toys, cakes, alcohol and hampers. - all kindly donated by the supporters of the show.

‘We wish to thank everyone of the kind support that was received, with frantic bidding from exhibitors, visitors and supporters alike on the show day and also at the presentation evening to allow the Show Committee to donate this fantastic figure of £1,000’ Rendells said.
