A FUN filled festive family event culminating in the switching on of Christmas lights is coming to Teignmouth.

On Saturday, December 3, Teignmouth Town Council have arranged a whole host of entertainment, which kicks off at 10am with the Festive Market - jam packed with stocking fillers of every kind.

Father Christmas will be present in his Grotto for those looking to quiz the main man himself and Christmas carols will be sung from 5pm.

The Christmas lights will be switched on at 5.30pm.
