AN art exhibition celebrating rivers and the ocean will open in Newton Abbot next week.

Dubbed ‘Ocean Connections’, the conceptual exhibition will for a month at Maltings Taphouse from Saturday, September 21, which so happens to be ‘World Rivers Day’.

Organisers are inviting people to gather at the Town Quay at 12pm to share in celebration of rivers through storytelling, poetry, song and more.

A procession will then makes its way to the Taphouse, opening the exhibition upon arriving.
