NEARLY two dozen Christmas trees are currently adorning the nave and aisles of a church known as the Cathedral of the Moor.
St Pancras Church at Widecombe-in-the-Moor is once again host to a Christmas Tree Festival.
Last year’s event was, for obvious reasons, postponed , but the festival has returned this December with the theme being A Christmas Carol - which has been interpreted in numerous ways.
The trees, a mix of real and artificial ones, have all been decorated by local families, individuals charities, churches, schools, shops, businesses, clubs and societies.
Throughout the festival organisers have been collecting for the Bounce! Brighter Futures Foundation, a charity that aims to improve mental health and build resilience in children, their families and their wider school community.
The festival runs at the church until Saturday.
