AN Exminster man will stand trial on charges of entering the Pavilion Amusements as a trespasser and attempting to steal and stealing cash.
Philip Neil Seaton, aged 41, of Milbury Farm Meadow, Exminster, has pleaded not guilty to entering the Pavilion Amusements at Dawlish Warren as a trespasser with intent to steal on December 11, 2022.
He also denied a charge that he entered the Pavilion Amusements on December 18 last year as a trespasser and stole £60 in cash.
He denies two further charges of going to the Pavilion Amusements with an article for use in a burglary – a torch and a crowbar.
He was remanded on conditional bail by South and West Devon Magistrates' Court until September 9 for a trial.
