POLICE have confirmed the sad news that a woman in her 20s has died.

A spokesperson said: ‘Police were called by the ambulance service at around 6.40am on Thursday, May 20, after concern was raised for the welfare of a woman in the Trusham area.

‘Officers, paramedics and the fire service attended the scene, where a woman aged in her 20s was pronounced deceased.

‘Her next-of-kin have been informed.

‘The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’
