POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a crash left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
The accident happened on the A380 at about 5.20pm on Thursday near Haldon Hill.
The two-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway involved a blue Peugeot car and a motorbike.
As a result of the crash, a 65-year-old man from Newton Abbot who was riding the motorbike, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Exeter.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
A local man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other offences.
He has been released on police bail.
