HUNDREDS of homes in Liverton and Ilsington were left without water when a main burst. Up to 500 properties were affected following the incident at the main near Bovey Tracey.

South West Water said the homes had no water for up to five hours while repairs were carried out to the six inch pipe. Repairs were completed and water restored to the properties by 8pm on Monday.
